Saracens outplayed the Vodacom Bulls 27-05 in their first Investec Champions Cup fixture at the StoneX stadium.
There was little to separate Saracens and the Vodacom Bulls on the scoreboard after the first half in London with the tie poised at 08-05 after the first forty minutes.
After a balanced first half, it was hosts Saracens who upped their level in the second period. A Jamie George touchdown eight minutes into the second half made sure to set the London club well on the right tracks.
Tom Willis added to the hosts' festivities not long after with Fergus Burke’s conversion making it 22-05 before Ben Earl breached the South Africans’ defence once more on 64 minutes to seal the 27-05 opening win for the English side.
