The 2023 SA Rugby u/21 Cup semi-final fixtures have been confirmed and will be played on 06 October 2023.
The Vodacom Bulls, Toyota Cheetahs, Leopards, Fidelity ADT Lions, Hollywoodbets Sharks and DHL Western Province battled it out over a single round, with the top four teams qualifying for the semi-finals. It has been confirmed that the SA Rugby u/21 Cup will be played over two rounds in 2024.
Defending champions, the Vodacom Bulls u/21 managed to secure a place in the semi-finals after beating the Toyota Cheetahs u/21 on Saturday (62-36) to secure the fourth position on the log. The Vodacom Bulls u/21 will travel to Cape Town on 06 October to play log leaders, Western Province u/21.
Western Province u/21 is unbeaten in the 2023 competition while the Vodacom Bulls u/21 have only won their last match against the Toyota Cheetahs u/21 on Saturday.
The Hollywood Bets Sharks u/21 will travel back to Johannesburg on 06 October to play the Fidelity ADT Lions u/21 in the second semi-final. This semi-final will be a replay of this weekend's fixture in Johannesburg which the home team won 30-13.
The ADT Lions have won four of their five fixtures in 2023 while the Hollywood Bets Sharks have won three.
