On Wednesday, Springbok head coach Rassie Erasmus confirmed that he went under the knife for a shoulder operation and expects to be home by the weekend. SA Rugby wished "our Rassie Erasmus a speedy recovery from his operation, we're all very proud and grateful for the great season."
