It was confirmed that Western Province will not play in the u/16 Grant Khomo final on Thursday following a complaint by the Blue Bulls that the Western Province ignored the quota rules and played too many white boys in the match against the Blue Bulls
Western Province squad did not comply with the quota rules following the replacement of two injured players by the Western Province after their round 1 match against Boland on Monday.
The complaint from the Blue Bulls followed their 25-18 loss to the Western Province on Tuesday. The Blue Bulls will face the Free State in the main match while Western Province will play the Golden Lions.
