Jimmy Stonehouse, head coach of the NNC Pumas has announced his squad for Friday's clash against the Lions in Johannesburg in the first "preparation" match of the 2021 season.
23-year-old Eddie Fouche will make his return at flyhalf after missing much of the 2020/2021 season after he sustained a serious knee and hip injury. Giovan Snyman will be his halfback partner.
Le Roux Roets will make his welcome return at lock from the bench after his 2020/2021 season was also interrupted by several injuries. Captain Pieter Jansen van Vuren and Brandon Valentyn will be the starting lock pair.
