Pumas head coach Jimmy Stonehouse named an almost new starting line-up to host the Vodacom Bulls in the opening match on Friday evening at 19h00 in Nelspruit.
Only Devon Williams at fullback starred for the Pumas in their last match against Griquas which the Pumas drew with 13-13.
Upfront Willie Engebrecht (#8), Daniel Maartens (#6) and Shane Kirwood (#4) made the trip to Kimberley as part of the starting line-up.
IG Prinsloo (#3), Tapiwa Mafura (#14) Phumzile Maqondwana (#20) were on the bech while Thinus de Beer who will start at flyhalf for the Pumas was on the bench for Griquas.
