While all eyes will be on the RDS Arena in Dublin as Leinster and Munster collide in the Guinness PRO14 final, there is still much to play for in the remaining two league matches.
Glasgow Warriors and the Dragons are locked together on 25 points in Conference A and have identical records as they bid to secure fourth place, which could potentially be good enough for a Heineken Champions Cup place.
The Dragons kept their chances alive having registered a 26-17 victory over the Warriors at the Principality Stadium last Sunday, with Sam Davies kicking 16 points.
The Scottish side are in action first at home to winless Benetton on Saturday afternoon while the Dragons host Edinburgh the following day.
Dragon's Fly-half, Davies said: “We’re in with a shout – that was what we wanted to come away with from this game.
“We have got to replicate what we did against Glasgow and be more accurate. We know we need to win and get the maximum points.”
Saturday - Glasgow Warriors v Benetton
After missing the chance to clinch fourth place last time out, Glasgow will be determined to make sure it is not a case of déjà vu when they take on a Benetton side still without a Guinness PRO14 victory this season.
Glasgow have posted just three league wins on home soil all season but will be encouraged by the fact they have lost to Benetton just once since 2011 – a three-point defeat at Stadio Monigo in 2019 – and have won six in a row when meeting at this venue.
Benetton, who have won three of their last four fixtures against Scottish opponents, last tasted victory in this competition in the final match of last season when they beat Zebre in Parma.
The two teams will also be hoping it is third time lucky, with the initial fixture in January postponed due to Covid-19 and then called off because of frost a month later.
Sunday – Dragons v Edinburgh
The Dragons will hope to pounce on any slip-up by Glasgow and know even a bonus-point win over Edinburgh may not be enough should the Warriors match them.
Dean Ryan’s side have stayed in the hunt for fourth place courtesy of two wins in their previous three Guinness PRO14 fixtures, including Sunday’s victory over the Warriors.
Edinburgh had gone into the Round 16 fixtures still in with a chance of fourth but defeat at Cardiff combined with Scarlets’ thrilling triumph over Connacht means they will finish fifth.
The capital club have won just one of their last four games in this competition but have been beaten only once in six against the Dragons, with this clash also taking place at the third time of asking due to Covid-19 and the weather.
