Many will claim that Pool A's quarter-final final places on the log have already been decided with the opening match of the 2023 Rugby World Cup when hosts France outplayed the All Blacks 27-13.
Despite losing captain Antoine Dupont to injury, whose return to play is not guaranteed, France should end first while the All Blacks should end second on the Pool A log, securing their places in the quarter-final playoffs.
France is unbeaten after three matches and only has Italy to play on 06 October 2023 in Lyon. Italy is currently placed second on the log, however, apart from the match against France they still have to play the All Blacks on 29 September in Lyon.
The match between Uruguay and Namibia will be historical as both teams are still looking for their first wins at a Rugby World Cup.
