In the sixth episode of the "Planning your future star's career" we look at the Varsity Cup as a pathway for your child.
With the Young Guns competition not a focus of the Varsity Cup anymore the questioned asked is if it is worth it to waste time at a university for only four to six games a year.
The answer is actually a short and sweet one. Young Guns' exposure is not worth a failed year in your son's life. If you are offered a bursary you owe it to yourself and the university to make a success of your studies. Do not steal opportunities from deserving kids.
