It has been confirmed that Paarl Boishaai Head of Rugby three year contract was not renewed by the school and came to an end yesterday 30 September 2021. The school announced the departure of Engledow in a press release earlier today.
The rugby department has been headed by Mr Peter Engeldow since 2018. He is a well-known name in rugby circles, Mr Engeldow has been coaching for 24 years. While living in the UK he worked for the RFU as Rugby Development Officer and Coach Trainer before joining St Joseph’s College as Director of Rugby. Mr Engledow left England to join the Griquas, which he coached for 5 years.
It was also confirmed by a reliable source that Boishaai is in the final phase to appoint a new Head of Rugby with Mr. Sean Erasmus, who Mr Engledow replaced apparently one of the favourites to move back to the Paarl.
