Springbok Prop Ox Nche has extended his stay at the Hollywoodbets Sharks until June 2028.
Born and bred in Bloemfontein, where he attained certain cult status as Free State Cheetahs' No 1 prop. As his nickname suggests, this man-mountain of a prop is a modern-era version of an Os du Randt (Springbok prop, 1994-2007), albeit slightly smaller in stature.
Ox made the move to the Sharks from the Cheetahs in 2020 and has since gone on to rack up over 60 appearances for the Durban-based outfit and has become a Springboks regular after earning his first cap against Wales in 2018 in Washington.
The Hollywoodbets Sharks also announced contract renewals of:
Vincent Tshituka - June 2027
Jannes Potgieter - June 2027
Ethan Hooker - June 2027
Nick Hatton - June 2027
Bradley Davids - June 2027
