It took Outeniqua only 1 minute to score their first try (5-0) after some direct running by Outeniqua. Noorheuwel struck back almost immediately after Outeniqua could not control a bouncing ball in their in-goal area and Brits scored the equaliser (5-5). With 25 minutes left on the clock, Outeniqua used a maul from a 5m lineout to score their second try.
A second try from a 5m lineout maul stretched Outeniqua's lead to 15-5. Outeniqua at that stage starting to dominate via the strength of their pack of forwards. The fourth try by Outeniqua stretched their lead to 22-5 with Outeniqua in complete control with 15 minutes to go in the first half.
Outeniqua wasted two or three opportunities to score more tries but ended the first half in full control. Their physicality too much for Noordheuwel. Noordheuwel, however, has the wind in their backs in the second half.

Noordheuwel took only 4 minutes in the second half to score their second try (22-12). A monster kick from a penalty by Noordheuwel gave them a lineout within 10 meters from Outeniqua's try line.
After dominating territory for a while Noordheuwel could not gather a bouncing ball which resulted in Outeniqua's 5th try with 18 minutes left to play (29-12).
Noordheuwel started with 15 minutes to go to take control of the game which resulted in their third try (27-17)
Noordheuwel had enough opportunities in the second half to win, however, critical mistakes on attack costed them. Outeniqua's forwards struggled in the second half, however, as the season continues they can become very dangerous.
