Oos Moot intentions was clear from the beginning. Within 15 minutes was already leading 21 - 0 and one could not fault the Pretoria North supporters from accepting defeat. The players of Pretoria North had other ideas. Changing their game plan they were able to to score before half time trailing 21 - 7. At the whistle of half time Pretoria North's star inside centre, Duncan Tuck was yellow carded spelling disaster to their hopes.
In the first ten minutes of the second half Oos Moot scored another try in the absence of Tuck. Pretoria North again showed their passion scoring two tries reducing Oos Moot's lead to only 9 points. The coming Saturday the boys from Oos Moot will face Potchefstroom Volkies in the next knock out round of the VirSeker/Beeld competition. However one can not help to look at their quarter final opponents if the win on Saturday. Helpmekaar is the team they lost to in the final of this competition last year after a VERY questionable decision was made by the referee in the last seconds of that final. After awarding the winning try to Oos Moot he cancelled his decision afterwards to call a forward pass by Oos Moot. This resulted in Helpies winning the title with 24 - 19.
