The Leopards u/20 will host the Eastern Province u/20 in Potchefstroom @ 15h00 in a game where pride is the "only" price as both teams' chances to reach the finals of the SARU u/20 Cup is long gone.
The Leopards u/20 has only won their last of three games against the Cheetahs u/20 a week ago with 24-17 while the Eastern Province u/20s season can only be described as a total waste of time as they have been humiliated in both their games this year.
The number of changes to the Leopards u/20 will cost them momentum as several of their stars are given a rest. The Eastern Province u/20 also made a lot of changes and I am sure that their coaches have targeted this as a game they could surprise.
Unfortunately, this should be one-way traffic with the Leopards an easy winner.
The Leopards u/20 coaches made wholesale changes to their starting line-up.
Three changes were made at the back. H Mostert replaces G Janeke at fullback with P Alexander coming in for Simuthembile Ntleki. Alec Vermaak replaces Christiaan Gates at flyhalf.
Six changes were made upfront, with Damian Oosthuizen on the side of the scrum and Daniel Theron at loosehead prop the only two players that escaped the cut.
Eastern Province u/20 has made 6 changes to their team that lost 13-63 to the Toyota Free State u/20 two weeks ago.
At the back B Frans comes in at the inside centre while A Williams (#10) and M Flam (#9) is the new halfback pairing.
M van der Merwe at lock is promoted from the bench while Q vd Walt (#2) and S King (#1) will form an almost new front row with captain J Malan.
