Australia made a perfect start to the Olympics 2024 when they beat the Springbok Women's Sevens 34-05, leading 24-00 at the halftime break.
The Springbok Women's Sevens were mere onlookers as Australia scored four tries to lead 24-00 at the halftime break. A much better defensive effort by the Springbok Women's Sevens in the second half limited Australia to "just" two tries to the one scored by Nadine Roos in the final seconds of the match.
