The second half was a "one for me and one for you" affair with Paul Roos edging Garsfontein 34-32 at the final whistle.

Grey College 24-22 Noordheuwel

Grey and Noordheuwel scored two tries each to share the lead 12-12 with four minutes to play, until Grey gave away a penalty in front of the poles, which they converted to go into the second half leading 15-12. The number of mistakes Grey made, some basic errors, kept them from scoring in the first half on several occasions. For the first ten minutes, Grey merrily continued their error-strewn gameplan, helped by a Noordheuwel team that is very good. Grey nearly butchered a try-scoring opportunity, however, great interplay led to their third try to lead 19-15. An intercept try by Noordheuwel was replied to by Grey with a try in the corner which gave Grey a 24-22 lead and fifteen minutes still to play in the second half. Although Grey set up camp in the Noordheuwel's red zone, Noordheuwel missed a penalty conversion with time up on the clock. Grey won 24-22.

Despite Rondebosch upping the tempo in the second half, they only led 26-15 after fifteen minutes of play in the second half. With 6 minutes to play, Rondebosch scored a try in the corner to increase their lead to 38-15, effectively sealing the win.

Oakdale 43-12 Nelspruit

Nelspruit started like a house on fire, and despite their "dominance", they could not convert that into points on the scoreboard. Oakdale slowly clawed their way back into the match and eventually scored the first try of the match off the back of a 5m line-out. Oakdale added a second try before Nelspruit opened their scoring with a long-distance try. Oakdale added another try to lead 24-07 at the halftime break. The final quarter was a great contest, and despite Wordcester Gim scoring a late try, Marais Viljoen deservedly won 31-31.

Rustenburg 60-25 Diamantveld

Initially, Rustenburg and Diamantveld threw everything at each other, however, the speedsters of Rustenburg in the second half were the difference between a well-matched game and a one-sided match. Rustenburg eventually won 60-25.

Framesby 60-07 Duineveld
