Welkom Gim is continuing on their impressive season and must be the favourites in winning the Griffons league. Their biggest opposition this season seems to be Voortrekker Bethlehem who also had an easy ride beating Sasolburg HTS 63-0. Voortrekker Bethlehem is yet to lose a match this season after the season opener at Loftus against EG Jansen and meet Welkom Gim next week in what should be a very exciting match.Witteberg also had an easy day against
Witteberg also had an easy day against Welkom HTS winning 62-12. In Bloemfontein, it seems that Fichardt Park was crowned number two after an easy win, 45-5 against Sentraal while Jim Fouche lost against their Eastern Cape visitors 12-48, Marlow. Marlow was already leading 22-12 at the end of the first half. Vrede is continuing on their impressive season beating Harrismith 35-5 this weekend.
Vrede who was not included in our original rankings and had to start at the bottom is already at no 388 and steadily climbing to the top improving with nine positions this past week.
