Middelburg Hoërskool hosted Ermelo in one of the season opener's yesterday. Middelburg who will be competing in the VirSeker Shield competition had little trouble at 1stXV level with Ermelo and won 52-10 in a very one-sided match, scoring eight tries to two. At the lower age groups, it was a lot more competitive with Middelburg just hanging on in the u/16A game beating Ermelo 31-27.
