The 5th 1stXV game on the last day of the Noord/Suid Rugby Festival was between Outeniqua and Marais Viljoen. The conditions were very cold and extremely wet and muddy underfoot. Hats off to Marais Viljoen who refused to concede defeat until the last minutes of the game. Outeniqua scored four tries in the last 10 minutes to win with 60-03.

12:16 Outeniqua stormed to an early lead of 19-00 after their 3rd try in just 12 minutes.
20:00 Outeniqua in control of the game after 20 minutes was played in the 1st half, however, ill-discipline by Outeniqua gave Marais several opportunities to score.
30:31 Outeniqua stormed over Marais Viljoen to score their 4th try. (24-3)
35:00 Outeniqua still dominated as they go into halftime, with their ill-discipline a definite worry. Marais Viljoen however is giving their best although everybody waits for the dam wall to break.
42:39 A brilliant individual effort by Dewanley van Rensburg saw him cutting through the whole Marais Viljoen side to score a brilliant try. (29-03)
