FNB Madibaz played their hearts out in front of a full stand of appreciative fans, putting up a good fight against FNB UP-Tuks in their second FNB Varsity Cup game before going down 22-6.
Although Tuks was never in danger of losing this match they struggled against a spirited host. Dian Schoonees was their hero after scoring two tries.
TUKS earned a valuable four log points while the Madibaz are still looking for their first win and at 5 log points on the combined 2021/2022 log that leaves them at the bottom of the log and their relegation to the Varsity Shield in 2022 an almost certainty.
