The Lions u/20 travelled to Potchefstroom as the overwhelming favourites for their game against the Leopards u/20. The Leopards u/20 did not agree and did everything except to win the game as the Lions scored a bonus-point win with 24-14.
The Lions u/20 was off to a quick start and led 19-07 after the first forty minutes. The Leopards surprisingly dominated come scrum time and their mauling was dominant.
Two yellow cards which resulted in a red card shown to the Lions eightman Sisonke Vumazonke which forced the Lions u/20 to play with 14 men for 30 minutes of the game.
The Leopards u/20 again showed to be especially dangerous in the second half and were unlucky not to win as they left several points on the pitch for the day.
