The Lions host Cell C Sharks on Saturday @ 16h45 in what promise to be a titanic battle. Coach Nkosi opted for an experienced squad with Elton Jantjies back to captain the team.
The Lions are unbeaten in the current Preparation Series after two good wins against the Pumas and Eastern Province while the Sharks lost against the Cheetahs last weekend and comprehensively outplayed the Griquas with 35-10 a week ago.
The Lions have given all their players an opportunity during these preparation games and by next week everyone returning to action should also get a run.
Fred Zeilinga has been added on the bench while on trial to give him an opportunity to prove himself.
Youngster Ngia Selengbe secured a starting berth after catching the eye in the win against the EP Elephants.
