The Leopards u/20 will host Eastern Province u/20 tomorrow @ 11:30 at the Olën Park Stadium, Potchefstroom in the 4th round of the SARU u/20 Championship. The Leopards must be the favourites to remain unbeaten as the Eastern Province was easy prey for the other unions.
The Leopards are unbeaten with a draw against Western Province (14-14) the only "blemish" on their performances this year. In the other match of this competition, the Leopards had a good home win over the Cheetahs (36-25) leaving them with 7 league points on the competition log.
The Leopards made five changes and one positional change to their starting line-up after they played the same starting line-up in their first two matches. L vd Walt (#15), E Fredericks (#11) and S Zungo (#9) are the new faces in the backline while E Fredericks moves from #14 to #11. Upfront the only two changes are in the frontrow, C van Zyl (#2) and D Matome Melebo (#1) are both promoted from the bench and will earn their first starts for the men from Potchefstroom.
Eastern Province u/20 has not won a game in this year competition after playing in all of the first three rounds. They only have 1 log point. Eastern Province made six changes and two positional changes to their starting lineup. C Finnis will make his starting debut #13 in the place of N Ngobe that moves to the wing while M de Ridder (#10) returns to the team after missing out on the Round 3 fixture against Western Province. Upfront N Zono (#8) and D Halgreen (#7) are the new faces in the loosies. J Friend (#5) moves to make place for A Marubelela at #4 while J Malan (#3) was promoted from the bench.
