Kolbe Looking Forward To Be A Better Player Against Wales

Fresh from a sensational brace against England at Twickenham, Cheslin Kolbe says the Springboks must be guarded when they conclude their November tour against a desperate Wales in Cardiff.

A try in each half from Kolbe saw the Springboks earn their 10th win of the year with a 29-20 victory against a desperate England side in London.

"I am immensely proud. We knew coming down to England and Twickenham was not going to be easy at all. It's always down to the wire and I'm just glad the composure the boys showed throughout the eighty minutes."

"When things weren't going our way, we pulled together, we made and found solutions on the field. But yeah, I am immensely proud."

Kolbe once again scored two brilliant tries, one off a Manie Libbok kick-pass and the other from a midfield break from Damian de Allende.

“As a winger, it’s always good to score tries,"

“But a lot of credit must go to the guys on the inside for putting in that hard work. It doesn’t go unnoticed. It’s what gives us opportunities on the outside."

“Sometimes the guys don’t get the recognition they deserve, but we know what it means for us," Kolbe said.

The Springboks will end their tour when they face a struggling Wales in Cardiff on Saturday at 19:40 (SA Time).

"Wales is never easy, and to be quite honest and it's always been like that since I made my debut in 2018."

"Wales play a similar game plan as what we are playing and we know it's going to be a physical battle going down to Cardiff."

"We will give them respect. We will make sure that we prepare ourselves as well as we can next week, and make sure that we implement what the coaches want."

"We can take confidence out of the England win, but a lot of the hard work still needs to be done before Wales, and that's the beauty of this game. It gives you the opportunity next week to be a better rugby player and a better team as well."
