“It Is Never Easy To Play At Ellispark” – Steven Kitshoff

The battle between the two front rows of the Emirates Lions and DHL Stormers will go a long way to decide who will walk off the pitch as victors on Saturday. The match between the Emirates Lions and visitors DHL Stormers will kick off at 15h00 on Saturday.

Especially interesting will be the battle between Kitshoff's and Springbok hopeful Carlu Sadie come scrum time. Sadie's ability to force penalties could add some scoreboard momentum for the hosts.

“The Lions are a tough team, especially at Ellispark. They live on the turnover ball and have a deadly back three, as well as other players across their team,” Kitshoff said.

“The Lions is definitely going to test our maturity and processes and the way we want to play. We are going to have to go out there and stick to our game plan, and if things go wrong we must be able to turn things around as soon as possible to swing the momentum back into our favour.

Kitshoff also said that the Lions won 41 turnovers in Cape Town a few weeks ago. He said that the Lions captain Jaco Kriel is a great stealer of the ball on the ground but stressed that the Stormers will not allow that to happen again.

"The Stormers will try to pressurise the Lions into a structured game that proved very successful for the Stormers over the past three weeks." Kitshoof said.
