For the fans, round three of the Guinness Men's Six Nations truly belonged to one man.
Scotland winger Duhan van der Merwe was not only voted by fans as their Player of the Round but the second try of his astounding hat-trick against England was named their Try of the Round.
So far ahead was Van der Merwe in the public's opinion that he won the vote by 70% in each category.
The 28-year-old has now scored 26 tries in 37 Tests - 14 of those in 16 Championship matches - putting him into an elite bracket of the game's greatest international try-scorers. He is also the perpetual scourge of the English, having played a vital role in the last four Scottish victories (in which he has scored six tries).
As the man himself said after the match, the thrill and pride in representing Scotland is all the fuel he needs to put in show-stopping performances like the one we saw in Edinburgh:
"When I come in on the bus on game days, I look at all our fans and I think, ‘How can I give back to Scotland?' because this country has given me so much. I guess with my performances: that is giving back to our fans."
Next for Scotland is a trip to Stadio Olimpico on Saturday 9th March. Expect to see the blonde bombshell going out there to give back to his country once more.
