In The Province Of Upsets And They Are Not Done…..Yet

Two weeks ago Dale College caused a big upset when the won against Selborne. Last week Selborne hosted Grey College and yes caused one of the upsets of 2017 beating Grey College. Who is next?

This week Queens College will travel to Grey High in Port Elizabeth. Queens are having a horrible season only managing 3 wins from 11 but they did beat Dale College and almost won against Selborne losing 14-12. Grey High, on the other hand, is unbeaten after 9 matches with only their first game against Marlow at the Graeme Rugby Day which was drawn. Can Queens go one better on Selborne's victory last weekend? Definitely not BUT ....................

Selborne hosts St Andrew's and should be confident but St Andrew's looking to make it five in a row and only lost 2 out of 10 games must be the favourite. If Selborne can repeat their level of rugby produced against Grey not many teams will beat them but in the same sentence must be mentioned Selborne's vulnerability against a team that spread the ball wide at every opportunity. St Andrew's can make the game quick and therefore should edge this one.

Muir should not cause any problems for the visiting Dale College and Daniël Pienaar should collect a win against a struggling Pearson. Framesby finding their rhythm against Boland Landbou and should beat Brandwag on their home ground but Brandwag is also enjoying some great results.

A weekend of upsets. Maybe just maybe.
