Imad Khan will start at scrumhalf in the only change to the DHL Western Province U21 starting line-up for the SA Rugby U21 Cup Final at City Park on Saturday.
Having featured off the replacements bench in the semifinal win last week, Khan will partner captain Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu at halfback for the clash with Lions U21, which kicks off at 13h00 on Saturday at City Park.
DHL Western Province U21 will be looking to make it a perfect unbeaten season when they face the Johannesburg side in the showpiece match.
Having won all five of their league fixtures, Head Coach Johno van der Walt’s side was convincing in their 34-7 semifinal win against defending champions Vodacom Bulls U21 last week.
Van der Walt said that his team will be looking to make the most of their home advantage at City Park.
“This has been a fantastic campaign so far, with some incredibly talented players in this squad, but we have one more challenge to face.
“We have been able to keep continuity in selection through most of the season and it is up to these combinations to fire at City Park on Saturday.
“These players have earned the right to play this game on home turf and they are determined to rise to the occasion and cap what has been a great season,” he said.
