HSBC SVNS – Springbok Women’s Sevens Slump To Defeat Against Japan

 

The Springbok Women's Sevens lost 34-07 to Japan in their last Pool B match in Singapore.

Japan opened the scoring after three minutes of play before Ayanda Phillips' try gave the Springbok Women's Sevens a 07-05 lead with two minutes of play left in the first half.

Thereafter Japan took control of the match scoring five unanswered tries to win 34-07.
