Hollywoodbets Sharks Knock Dragons RFC Out Of EPCR Challenge Cup

Hollywoodbets Sharks ran in five tries against Dragons RFC as the South African club won 29-9 to knock their hosts out of the EPCR Challenge Cup.

Scrum-half Jaden Hendrikse, prop Ox Nche, second-row Gerbrandt Grobler, replacement Le Roux Roets and wing Werner Kok all got on the try scorer sheet for Hollywoodbets Sharks, fly-half Curwin Bosch converting two.

Three of those tries came in the final ten minutes of the game, as the visitors put clear distance between themselves and their hosts.

Full-back Cai Evans kicked all of the Rodney Parade club’s points with three penalties, but the Welsh region failed to score a try in front of their home crowd.

Jared Rosser thought he had scored an extraordinary individual try in the first half, chasing his own kick nearly the length of the field, but the TMO determined that his grounding was not clear enough.

The result means Hollywoodbets Sharks finish top of Pool 1.
