The appointment of the new Head of Rugby at Paul Roos Gimnasium has reached its final stages. It has been "confirmed" by an informed source that Corné Uys has been made an offer and final negotiations is at an advanced stage.
Uys is not unknown at Paul Roos as he was the assistant coach at the school in 2017 and 2018.
Uys is the current head coach at the Stellenbosch Rugby Academy. He was also an assistant coach at Provence Rugby which participates in ProD2 Division in France for 2015 and 2016.
As a player, Uys represented the Stormers 2004-2007, Cheetahs 2008-2010, Newcastle Falcons 2011, Sale Sharks 2012, Aix-en-Provence 2013-2015
