Hapless Springboks Humiliated In Australia

Both coaches have tweaked their starting XVs for the second consecutive TRC Test between the Wallabies and Springboks at Suncorp Stadium. The Springboks desperately needed a win to keep their Rugby Championship, however, another hapless performance by the South African gave Australia their second win in six days over the "World Champions" with 30-17.

The Springboks started the match the same manner as they ended the test, useless. Although the Springboks looked a lot better in the 3rd quarter the Australians took control of the 4t quarter to cruise home against the Springboks.

12:26 Faf de Klerk (Springboks) deserve a stupid yellow card.

13:15 Len Ikitau scored an easy try as a halfhearted defence by the Springboks gave him access to the Springboks in-goal area (05-00).

17:51 Handré Pollard converted a penalty to put the Springboks first points on the board (05-03).

20:00 Australia are allowed to enjoy a relaxed day on the pitch as the Springboks performance is even worse than that of last Sunday. A Springbok humiliation is on the cards.

20:15 Len Ikitau scored his second try of this test. The Springboks' lack of defence is making it extremely easy for the Australian attack (12-03).

26:04 Handré Pollard converted his second penalty for the Springboks (12-06).

28:49 Quade Cooper converted a penalty for Australia (15-06).

31:14 Handré Pollard converted his third penalty for Springboks (15-09).

32:17 Lachlan Swinton (Australia) receive a yellow card.

36:50 Handré Pollard scored the Springboks 4th try (15-12).

40:00 The Springboks were outplayed in the first half with only Handré Pollard's boot keeping in the game. A flattering scoreline for a hapless Springbok team.

41:36 A great grubber by Faf de Klerk is dotted down by Lukhanyo Am for the Springboks first try of the match (15-17).

50:37 Quade Copper converted his second penalty for Australia (18-17).

60:00 The match is evenly balanced at this stage, however, I can not decide if the Springboks are playing better or if Australia is not effective anymore.

61:03 Marika Koroibete scored his third try against the Springboks in his career. The Springboks' defence was again well below par as the Boks defence out wide was found wanting (25-17).

67:08 Marika Koroibete scored his 2nd try for Australia (30-17).

78:34 Jasper Wiese deservedly sent off with a yellow card.
