Griquas will play against the Cell C Sharks on Sunday @ 17:15 in Durban in the last game of the first round of the preparations games. Tafel Lager Griquas head coach Scott Mathie has mainly stuck to the same side that lost 18-22 to the Toyota Cheetahs in their last Currie Cup game on 09 Jan 2021.
Only three changes to the starting line-up were made. Stefan Ungerer (#9), who will make his debut for Griquas will partner up with captain George Whitehead, while Mzwanele Zito (lock) and Siba Qoba (#8) are the changes up front.
Jo-Hanko de Villiers will also make his debut for Griquas from the bench.
Griquas will be a determent to secure their first win after bot being able to win any games during the Super Rugby Unlocked and Currie Cup in 2020.
