Schoolboy rugby's biggest contributor to winning or losing must be confidence. Grey High struggled to win against Paul Roos 22-20, Wynberg 40-30, Graeme College 22-15 and Queens College 24-22 and then came the "unexpected" loss against St Andrew's College last weekend. This week they come up against a Dale College that is full of confidence after 7 victories in a row. Dale College is a team known for its physical approach and will be in the face of Grey the whole afternoon. Grey High, on the other hand, will use their big forwards to enforce their structural game plan and will look to calm things down at all costs.
Framesby host a Glenwood that will still have that nasty taste of disappointment after their loss at home against Monnas. Framesby lost against Glenwood 10-21 earlier this season at the Kearsney Festival and only came 8th at the Sanix Youth Tournament but their last 3 wins against Boland Landbou 19-16, Marlow 28-16 and Brandwag 19-15 shows a team that is firing on all cylinders and at home should give Glenwood a run for their money. Glenwood was bullied up front and should expect the same treatment from Framesby but this time the Glenwood backline should be able to win it IF they get enough quality ball from their forwards.
Queens College visits Graeme College and should not hope for their 5th win in 14 games. Selborne should have a relaxed afternoon visiting Port Rex and the new champions of the Eastern Cape, St Andrew's College will host Pearson but Pearson will not be treated as a guest and should be sent home with a loss.
