The Springbok Women's Sevens did end day 1 of the HSBC SVNS at Dubai without a win after losing 17-05 to Great Britain. The Springbok Women's Sevens will play against Spain tomorrow at 11:42 in the 9th place semi-final.
The Springboks started like a house on fire with Nadine Roos once again showing her class to score the first try of the match. However, Great Britain dominated the rest of the first half and scored two tries in quick succession to lead 12-05 at the halftime break.
Great Britain added their third try after just 2 minutes of play in the second half to lead 17-05, which was also the final score.
