The Graeme College 150th Rugby Festival will be hosted at Graeme College from 23 March until 25 March 2023.
For the special occasion celebration of its 150th anniversary Grey College has decided to expand the normal one day of action into three days of action. All the top schools of the Eastern Cape will compete while Hilton College, SACS and Grey College will add some extra spice to this exciting list of fixtures.
The first day of action will see Marlow Landbou facing Grey College in the day's last match. If Grey College treat this game as a mere warm-up for the Noord/Suid Festival they are in for a big surprise as Marlow is the Eastern Cape favourite to lead the Eastern Cape's charge into the Ruggas.co.za 1stXV Ranking.
Also interesting is the game between Dale College and Pearson High. Dale was severely tested by the tragedies experienced by the 1stXV and school. One would hope that the boys of 2023 return with a bang playing their exciting brand of rugby that made them a regular in the Top 20.
The chasing pack will test top 20 regulars Grey High, Selborne College and Framesby in the Eastern Cape to establish some early-season dominance.
