The Golden Lions High Schools Rugby Association followed the example set by the Blue Bulls High Schools Rugby Association when they suspended all rugby for 2020. However, in the announcement hereunder Mr Thinus Diedericks, the chairman did open the door somewhat if conditions change in stating that should there be a possibility later in the year and individual schools wish to play, application for such games must be lodged at the Executive and GLRU which will refer it to SARU.
