A struggling Monnas team that eventually lost seven of their twenty-four games that season hosted one of the best Glenwood teams who were unbeaten for the 2018 season. Monnas were crowned VirSekerbeker winners at the end of the season with Glenwood's only "blemish a draw against the powerful Grey College.
Monnas never really in the match with a try at the end of the match by Monnas making the scoreline a bit more respectful.

Rynhardt Jonker was Glenwood's only representative in the SA Schools squad.
