Glasgow Warriors welcomed the DHL Stormers to Scotstoun for the first time ever and managed to score the match-winning try with seconds to go in the match. Glasgow Warriors are the deserved 24-17 winners.
The first 20 minutes were played at a blistering pace as both teams showed their willingness to attack from anywhere. The Glasgow Warriors were the "dominant" team at this stage although both teams had several try-scoring opportunities. Three great tries were scored as Glasgow Warriors led 10-07 after 20 minutes of play.
The match continued at the same pace as the first 20 minutes with the DHL Stormers scoring the only try of the quarter to lead 12-10 at the halftime break.
During the third quarter, the pace did slow down quite a bit, however, Glasgow Warriors' physical attacks led to several missed tackles by the DHL Stormers which eventually led to their try to lead 17-12 with 20 minutes to play.
The fourth quarter belonged to the Glasgow Warriors who managed to score the winning try with seconds to go in the match. The Glasgow Winners were the deserved winners with 24-17.
