Hoërskool Garsfontein added a High-Performance Centre to their already impressive sports facilities last Wednesday. Hosted in a brand new building this world-class facility will play a big role in the developing of future stars at Garsfontein.
The facility will have a full-time physiotherapist and biokineticist to assist the learners in their strive to reach their best in their chosen sport. Three qualified personal trainers will also join the staff shortly.
Apart from being equipped with the best gym equipment the centre also has a "Senso Pro Trainer" which is a first for any gym in Africa. The "Senso Pro Trainer" is used from rehabilitation to extreme sports, anyone can use it. It improves coordination, which makes strength & endurance training more efficient and also gives more agility and body confidence in everyday life for everyday tasks.
Garsies has not only established itself as a feeder school for top rugby franchises all over the world but recently became a feeder to other schools of top coaches and teachers. An effort by all at Garsfontein to be proud of.
