Toyota Cheetahs coach Hawies Fourie has several changes to his starting line-up for their game against the Pumas in Mbombela on Friday evening @19h00.
Frans Steyn will start at flyhalf and replaces Tian Schoeman who drops out of the matchday 23. Ruben de Haas will be the starting scrumhalf with Tian Meyer providing cover. The wings are William Small-Smith and Duncan Saal, with Saal making his Currie Cup debut for the Toyota Cheetahs. Saal replaces Malcolm Jaer in the No.11 jersey, the latter himself a late replacement for the injured Rosko Specman last week. Howard Mnisi and Dries Swanepoel are the two centers
Marnus van der Merwe will be the starting hooker, with Louis van der Westhuizen providing cover on the bench. The locks are Carl Wegner and Reniel Hugo while Oupa Mohoje provides the cover on the bench.
Rhyno Smith and Chris Massyn are new to the bench.
