FNB Wits’ And FNB Ikeys’ Battle Up Front In The Wet Will Be Vital

FNB Wits will host the FNB UCT Ikeys tonight at the Wits Rugby Stadium in Johannesburg @ 19h00.

Of all the matches to be played today the match between the hosts and the Ikeys should produce the best rugby with both teams having a lot to play for.

The Ikeys are currently second on the 2022 Varsity Cup log and a win could secure their place in the semi-finals, however, Wits will need some help from other teams to reach the semis even if they win tonight. Wits are currently fifth on the log four log points behind the Maties in the Fourth position.

The visitors come off a good win against Maties (44-27) while Wits lost to Tuks (39-24) in Pretoria.

Tonight should see a titanic battle in the wet between the two very good and mobile packs of forwards. This battle up front should be the decider of the outcome of the match.
