FNB UP-Tuks hosts FNB UCT Ikeys in a repeat of the 2021 Varsity Cup final on Monday @ 19h00. Ikeys will definitely be looking for revenge after losing (27-34) in an exciting final.
Ikeys are still unbeaten while Tuks have lost against Maties in Round 1. The Ikeys had close calls against NWU (35-26) and UJ (26-24), having to claw their way back to scrape home.
TUKS has not convinced this year yet. They lost against Maties (09-19) and had a win against the bottom of the log Madibaz (22-06) in an uninspiring manner.
Coach Nico Luus has made no changes to his squad that have beaten the Madibaz.
The Ikeys made only two changes to their backline. Ruben Labuschagne is promoted from the bench when he will make his first start at the inside centre. Justin Cross at flyhalf is also given his first chance to start on Monday.
