FNB Shimlas will host the reigning Varsity Cup champions FNB UP-Tuks tonight in Bloemfontein @ 19h00.
With seven teams still able to qualify for the playoffs the result in Bloemfontein will help the other teams hoping to slip past current log leaders, Shimlas (27) and third place Tuks (25) just two log points behind their hosts tonight.
Tuks came off a good win against Wits (39-34) a week ago while the Shimlas seemingly have recovered from their mid-season slump to beat a high-riding UJ with 26-35.
Tuks is known for a slow start to a season but could find it difficult when facing a brilliant Shimlas team to go home with a full bag of five log points and a place in the semi-final secured.
