FNB NWU Eagles Will Hope That A Bonus-point Win Will Result In A Place In Semi-final

FNB NWU Eagles will host FNB Wits tonight in Potchefstroom @ 19h00 in a must-win for the home team.

NWU Eagles are currently 5th on the log and if UJ who hosts Tuks tonight, beat TUKS then the Eagles will be the favourites to play in the semi-finals of the 2022 Varsity Cup.

The Home team had a good win against the CUT Ixias (33-14) a week ago and will be looking to make it three in a row tonight.

Wits had a disappointing loss against the Ikeys (23-47) a week ago and if they did not fix the obvious it will be a long trip back home, however, they may just surprise the pundits.

NWU Eagles at home are always a difficult opponent and the bonus that a win could extend their season might just be enough to energise the boys from Potchefstroom.
