FNB Maties will host FNB UWC in the last round of the 2022 Varsity Cup tonight @ 19h00. Maties should win this one with relative ease unless they decide they will rather want to play the semi-final in Bloemfontein against the Shimlas and lose against UWC against all odds.
Maties had a good 61-21 against the Madibaz at home and are currently in the third position on the log while UWC lost against UJ at home with 28-50 a week ago and is third from last on the log.
UWC is currently second last on the combined log for 2021/22 and only have the slimmest of chances to avoid relegation.
