UCT Ikeys will host FNB UWC tomorrow evening in Cape Town @ 19h00 in Round 4 of the 2022 Varsity Cup.
FNB Ikeys is the overwhelming favourites to win this game with relative ease. Although UWC "surprised" some with the ease they have beaten Madibaz (60-26) they still have a long way to be a threat to the top teams in the Varsity Cup. Unfortunately.
Only two changes were made to the Ikeys team that narrowly lost to Tuks (38-30). David Hayes replaces Justin Cross at flyhalf while Reinhardt Crous replaces Mika Schubert at lock. Schubert drops to the bench.
Gilroy Lee Philander makes his first appearance at fullback for UWC in the only change at the back. Up front Bronlee Mouries makes his first appearance of the year at lock while Romuald Ntumba slots in Mouries place on the side of the scrum.
