FNB CUT Ixias will host the FNB NWU Eagles tonight in Bloemfontein @ 19h00.
CUT Ixias will be desperate to win their first game of the 2022 Varsity Cup tournament. The Ixias is currently eighth on the combined 2022/2021 log with eight points ahead of FNB UWC who is currently the second team to be relegated at the end of the season.
The NWU Eagles will play for five log points in order to keep their playoff hopes alive. They are currently five log points behind the FNB Maties which is currently fourth on the log.
The Ixias lost 38-44 against UWC in Bellville a week ago while the Eagles had a dominant win against the Madibaz (61-26) at home.
