The first shots in the 2022 Schoolboy rugby season was fired during the past two weeks. This week the NWU/Pukke Top 16 series will kick off today while next week we will see several games and competitions that will kick off.
Pionier was crowned the champion of the 2019 NWU/Pukke Top 16 competition when the won against Leeuwenhof Academy (41-12)
The big game today will be Welkom Gim that hosts Grey College in Welkom. Welkom Gim has already played against Glenwood a week ago and although the Glenwood 1stXV was "split" into two teams, Gim won the "A" team with 17-14.
