During day two's action, the matches get more intense as the unbeaten sides of day one start fighting for the honour to play in the main match on the last day of the tournament. Usually, this honour is reserved for the two "best" sides, however, a lot of emotion and personal gain sometimes spoils the derision of who will have the honour.
In Welkom, the u/18 girls will start their tournament as day one was reserved for the u/16 girls who set a high standard for the older girls.

In Kimberley, at the u/16 Grant Khomo Week the talent was just astonishing as the top teams in the country and visitors gave their all in day one. What was evident is the "lack" of effort in most of the games in the second half which could have been forced with the minimum requirements on the time on the field that each player must spend. Expect most of the teams to start with their "best" team today.
The winners of the two last games on the A-field should decide the places in the unofficial "final" on Thursday with Western Province the early favourite, however .....................
